For the second race weekend of the European Championships, the Formula Team headed to Klatovy in the Czech Republic. The weekend was full of racing action on a brand new BMX Track and under a sunny sky.
Lucie Meerholz was dominating the Girl 13+14 Category taking a solid win on both days.

On Saturday, Edzus was pushed out in the first turn in the 1/8th final taking him out of the race. On Sunday, he qualified for the semi, were he finished in 6th place behind 5 of the Dutch National Team members. Edzus is currently in 6 position of the current ranking.
Team Manager Nico van Dartel took a 4th spot on Saturday and managed to make the podium on Sunday, taking 3rd place in the Men 30+ category.
Of course we are very proud of our Dutch/Belgian Formula support rider Ton Cleijne who took 2 days the # 1 spot in the cruiser 40+ category ! Keep on rocking, Doc !!!
Next weekend we have rendez-vous in ‘la bella Italia’ for rounds 5&6. Both Rihards Veide and Niklas Laustsen are still out with a collar bone injury, but Steven Wong will be making the trip to Creazzo with the UCI Centre group and is looking forward to show his best.

too for Lucie Meerholz who made it both days to the finals in girls 13/14.
The junior men Rihards Veide and Niklas Laustsen were no that lucky and both
