He has trained under former world champion Thomas Allied command and it was actually days that made a lot of new experiences in training, both in the gym and on the track. Unfortunately he injured himself in the last week and could not complete all fystester mm. He was nevertheless pleased with his stay and what it did.
Success for Formula Team Sweden at the premiere
Over the weekend May 29 to 30 the first two races in this year’s Swedish Cup of BMX were held. The premiere took place at Malmö’s BMX track and as usual it was windy, but the rain stayed away until the finals on Sunday’s race.
It was the debut of the BMX team, Formula Team Sweden, but with only four riders on the gate as Henrik Thorsen had commitments for their upcoming graduation and Jonas are still felt by his chest injury he suffered in Switzerland and he could not attend this weekend’s races. Nevertheless, he was in and coached his team members and it was extraordinary results.
In class, boys 11-12 years, we have Andrras Bjorkman. He wasoutstanding and took home all the heats in two days and leads the class thus far after two races. He was completely unchallenged, and he flew on his new Formula bike.
Jesper Petersson competes in class boys 13-14 years and also made terrific results. He won the first races in the big dough and still the second day was even better with the increased self-confidence. He took easily to the A-final but it was really tight and he finished third. Located in overall second place after the two races.
Victoria Boraie is actually compete in the girls’ class up to 16 years, but this year has been classified up to compete against junior / elite ladies. Now that class is not opened, so she drove in the class of boys 17 +. She did it with honor and made the journey despite excellent heat resistance. Went to A-final both days and is in sixth place overall after the weekend’s races.
Frederick Johansson dominated the category of boys up to 16 years. LikeAndreas, he won all his heats quite easily in two days and thus lead the class comfortable. Now it seems that he may classify up to the elite class for the next race and it will be interesting how he can handle the tougher opposition.
What’son?
This upcoming weekend, 5-6 June, the two European Championship races in Valkenswaard, Holland.
In place of the Formula Team Sweden is Jonas Franzen, Victoria Boraie and Andreas Bjorkman.
