Formula Europe’s Edzus Treimanis travelled to Papendal, Holland for SX #2 to gain some important points for the Latvian and his own UCI ranking .

The track was huge and super technical. And the wind made it even harder to ride, but Edzus putted together some solid laps.

On friday he qualified with a 14th time. Being in the top 16 of the Elite Men, Edzus proceeded tot the Superfinal time trial. He had a good run,
giving him 7th place for the day.

On Saturday,  Edzus passed his motos without too much problems. He won his quarters and in a stacked semi he took second place giving him a spot in the
Main Event.

In the Main he got tangled up in the bunch and couldn’t jump the second straight putting him back to 6th place. He was chasing the pack to the last
straight and managed to pass 1 rider just before the finish line giving him 5th place for the day.

After 2 rounds, Edzus is now in 10th place of the overall standing.

Next Race for him and the the rest of the team are the European Championships Rounds in Winterthur, Switserland.
