The Finals of the European Championships Bmx 2011 where held in Haaksbergen, The Netherlands.

Lucie Meerholz was riding strong on her home turf. She qualified for the semis of the Girls 15, but just missed out on the main with 1 spot, finishing in 5th.

Sander Wijne qualified for the main of the Cruiser 25/29 in which he took a strong start, but in the second turn he flipped over a rider that crashed right in front of him giving him 8th place for the day.
Also in Men 25/29 he made the main in which he finished in 6th.

In the same category Jordy Agues was 1 of the favorites after winning motos and semi. He was battling for the win, but had to settle for second place. Vice European Champion ! Not bad at all !

Sandra Aleksejeva qualified for the semis on both days, but didn’t make the main event. She is ranked 13th in the Overall Elite Women’s Ranking 2011.

Elite Mens’s Edzus Treimanis was sure of a podium in the Elite Men. Gold was already reserved for Joris Daudet, who pulled a straight 12 out of 12. Respect!
Edzus managed to claim the Silver Medal in the final ranking with a 7th place on Saturday and a 4th on Sunday.
Congratulations Edzus!

The team is now preparing for the UCI BMX Worlds in Copenhagen,  the end of July.
