Lucie Meerholz has recuperated well from her hard winter trainings. On Saturday, she had some problems in finding her race rythm, but on Sunday she made it all the way to the main. She missed her start, but managed to catch up and pick up a few ridersk, just to strand 1 place from the podium.

In Men 25+, our Dutchie Jordy Agues managed to take on Saturday AND Sunday the # 1 position . Proudly , he could show off his new 2012 outfit at the top podium spot ! Congrats, Jordy!

In Elite Women, Sandra Alekseveja rode her first 2012 final, finishing fourth on Saturday . On Sunday, she went out in the semis after a crash in the tough Women’s Series!

In Elite Men, Edzus Treimainis proves he is riding very consistently in the 2012 season, by taking two finals during the weekend : a # 3 spot on Saturday and # 8 after a wreck in first corner on Sunday.
Edzus still is in the # 1 position of the 2012 European Championships Series after 8 rounds. He even increases the gap on his direct competitors!
Also note that he is currently ranked # 3  @ the UCI Bmx World ranking .
With the Olympics coming up, a very important year for Edzus ! Keep on going!

On Saturday he takes 2nd place and on Sunday 3rd making his 5th podium out of 6 rounds.

Due to the consistent rain, the track was turned into a big pool of mud,making the racing really though. Round 3 for the Championships Classes was postponed until Sunday and riding 2 races on such a track in one day made it even heavier.

In the Challenge Nico van Dartel had a good weekend with a 7th place on Saturday and a 5th place on Sunday. Sandra Alekseja is finding here shape back after a series of injuries. In Round 3 she was eliminated after a crash in the motos, but in Round 4 she made it to the Semi Final, in which she finished in 6th place.

Kevin Sprengers had an unlucky crash in turn 1 putting an early end to his season. He’‚s out with torn ankle ligaments. Heal up fast  Kevin!

Vice-European Champion Edıus Treimanis is on a role. He was out in front all weekend and with a win in round 3 and a close second in round 4, he now takes the lead in the European Championships Ranking.

After qualifying with a 28th time during the SX Time Trial, he was riding strong all day winning his qualifiers, taking 2nd in the quarters and 4th in the semi. In the Main he had to settle for 6th place after being held up in the huge carnage in the first turn.

Edžus finishes the 2011 SX Season with an 11th place in the Overall Ranking.
